Come stay at our relaxing scenic mountain home on 2 acres in the mountains! We are only 18 miles (30 mins) from the South entrance into Yosemite National Park, 5 miles to the gorgeous Bass Lake, and 2 miles to downtown Oakhurst where you can shop, dine and find entertainment! Spend the day hiking the trails in Yosemite, enjoy a refreshing swim, fishing or boating at Bass Lake, and relax at home on our covered patio, in a hammock or in the hot tub with your beautiful private mountain sunset!

Sitting on over two acres, this home features an 800sq/ft covered porch and private hot tub, both with unobstructed scenic mountain views and incredible sunsets. The house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and private bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and is next door to the second bathroom. In addition, there is a pull-out bed available in the living room. The house has updated bathroom and appliances as well as a wood burning fireplace. There is also a portable sit-stand desk available that can be used inside or out on the porch for anyone looking to work with a gorgeous view. There is a full sized kitchen stocked with the essentials. The kitchen table seats two, but there is an additional table that can be set up that seats an additional 4. There is a laundry room with washer, dryer and cleaning products. Flat backyard with a custom built horseshoe pit and tons of space to run around and play! Relaxing front yard with a hammock and beautiful views. Plenty of space and areas to move around and have privacy.

Accessibility and Availability
Neighborhood
We live on a quiet street where only the neighbors and their guests drive. Our driveway is a little steep but it brings us away from the road and nestles us in the Sierra mountains with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valley. We have a great relationship with our neighbors who are very nice and friendly. Please respect noise levels outside the house after 10pm, thank you!
Guest Access
We are in the mountains so the driveway is steep, but there is plenty of room to park your car. Check in is very easy; you will receive a code to enter and you are all set! Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. The porch lights are on a timer and will go off at 11pm. If you will be arriving later than 11pm, please let us know and we will make sure the lights are kept on for you as it does get very dark up here. We keep our personal things in the garage and sheds, so these spaces will not be accessible. Other things to note: There are no other residents on this 2 acre property- it’s all yours!

We are only 18 miles (30 mins) from the South entrance of Yosemite National Park, and 5 miles to the gorgeous Bass Lake. Downtown Oakhurst is only a 5 minute drive away where you can shop and dine out. There is no Uber/Lyft in the area, so having a vehicle is a must. There are a few cabs, but in general it is easiest to get around with a car as wait times can be very long. YARTS Public Transit can take you in and out of Yosemite by bus, but you will need a way to get from downtown Oakhurst to the house by vehicle. Walking or biking on the highway is not recommended and is unsafe due to lack of sidewalks and windy roads.
